Double Glazing Systems
There are six secondary systems available, each providing a different insulation solution
EASYFIX EASYGLAZE FILMGLAZE SUPERGLAZE
MAGNETGLAZE MAGNETGLAZE PRO
EASYFIX - Plastic edging strip placed on the glass and held to the window frame by clips and screws.
EASYGLAZE
- Two part system for plastic sheeting. Base is cut and fixed to frame
with self-adhesive
tape, plastic sheet is held in place by the cover strip.
FILMGLAZE
- Simple system using film and self-adhesive tape. Tape is applied to
the frame, the film
is then placed onto the tape and heat is used to stretch the film.
SUPERGLAZE
- Two part system for glass or plastic sheet. Base is cut to size and placed
on glass,
this unit is then screwed to the window frame and a cover strip hides the
fixing.
MAGNETGLAZE
- Two part system for plastic sheeting only. A magnetic strip is stuck to
the panel,
a metallic strip is stuck to the window frame. The two parts then click
together.
MAGNETGLAZE
PRO - Same principle as the
standard Magnetglaze system, only the magnetic strip
is supplied on a rigid pvc frame strip. This strip can be cut to length,
mitred
and placed onto the plastic sheet to form a frame. When placed on the window
frame it gives a neat professional appearance.
